Our goals in life are humble: all we want is to be successful, satisfied, and super cute. Every week, our Dress Code series will suggest one new outfit for you to try out at the office– making sure the only thing you have to work hard for is, well, your actual work.

Style

We know, you know. When the big clan reunions start during the holidays, all of a sudden you need to come in a specific color assigned to your branch of the family (your lola had ten siblings and your grand-lola had three husbands? Join the club)—and damn it, it’s never black. Here, we run the gamut of pink, red, orange, green, and blue, to show that holiday dressing doesn’t necessarily mean an org t-shirt you picked up at school, or ridiculous family photos. Step one: embrace it. Step two: see below.

La Vie

To put it simply, he’s that one relative whose presence is always transient, but totally lights up the room and becomes the life of the party whenever he visits, with stories about his latest adventures and the people he’s met. But at the same time, he’s not quite sure what craft or profession he wants to commit himself to (he wants to keep teaching, but he would also love to be a writer or a musician, and he wants to remain socio-politically active too). He’s outgoing and positive-thinking and will try pretty much anything. He’s a dreamer and a budding renaissance man, but in need of maybe just a little bit of direction and certainty.
