Preparing for the coming 80th-anniversary celebration of its iconic silk scarves, Hermès has recently launched a special laundromat service named “Hermèsmatic” that is now touring around the world.
A pop-up concept that will be setting up in multiple cities, the Hermèsmatic laundromat provides an exclusive and free 48-hour service for all Hermès silk scarf owners to wash their beloved Carrés.
With its first locations set in Munich, Kyoto, Amsterdam and Strasbourg, the pop-up features a wall of orange-hued washing machines and dryer, where you can clean and refresh your Carrés within 48 hours.
And while waiting for your laundry to dry, Hermès has also set up a corner for a range of limited edition archived print scarves for your delight or you can also update your scarves with a special dip-dye service for a completely new design for free.
There really is no better way to do your chores than to shop while you’re at it.
Set to launch globally in more locations, the Hermèsmatic laundromat pop-up by Hermès is now available in Munich, Kyoto, Amsterdam and Strasbourg. More locations to be announced soon. Visit the Hermès website for more information.
