There is something wildly exciting and kind of rebellious about VIP makeup looks that can be done on a drugstore budget, and doubly so when done for a wedding, which involves some of the most psychologically telling decision-making a woman can make in her lifetime. We’re not usually ones to meddle in celebrity affairs, but the idea of copping wedding day makeup on the cheap excites us, and Georgina Wilson is not exempted.
Wilson has practically made a living out of being beautiful, various slasher roles none withstanding, and as one of the country’s most recognizable faces, she definitely doesn’t disappoint in the beauty department: Wilson’s wedding is a multiple-chapter extravaganza, and she flew in some of the country’s most talented hands to work on her lewks for the entire affair. As the events unfold, keep checking this page for more updates and beauty tips.
Robbie Piñera is doing her makeup for Wilson’s despedida de soltera and other events surrounding the church wedding, but for the actual I dos, Gela Laurel is taking the reins. Laurel delivered on Wilson’s signature hyperdefined eye makeup, doing a multi-dimensional smokey eye that’s great for daytime without skimping on the drama. As Wilson is a Maybelline girl, we’re going to guess this is the Maybelline Nudes Palette‘s doing, instantly setting the tone for the rest of her casually pretty look. And although this is impossible to do when Maybelline is involved, we’re going to go ahead and say it: don’t skip the mascara. (For the newbies, try Maybelline Hypercurl for a bright-eyed look that will get you a tiny bit closer to marital bliss.)
Nothing in Wilson’s wedding look overpowers. Even with a heavily embellished headband and veil affixed by hairstylist Raymond Santiago, and crazily high octane drop earrings, the entire look is seamless. Borrow definition with the Maybelline Fashion Brow Palette, and top it off with a sweet pink on your lips. Laurel’s choice of color suits Wilson perfectly; the pinkish nude is subtle, but it doesn’t wash her out.
Et voila. Other details, we’re just thanking Instagram geo-tags for: Rumors say Wilson is wearing an Alexis Mabille dress, although it is unconfirmed if this is the very one. Wilson also had eleven bridesmaids in attendance at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Winchester, all of them besties, including some of our favorite cool girls aka Solenn Heussaff, Martine Cajucom, Belle Daza, Jess Wilson (spot her crouched in the bottom left of this next photo, sporting perfect Pinterest braids), Bea Soriano, and Anne Curtis.
Despedida de soltera
According to Piñera’s Instagram, Wilson’s poreless skin is thanks to Maybelline’s Dream Satin liquid foundation– a great choice, considering all the cameras trained on Wilson for the big event. From high definition professional photography to her besties’ iPhone snaps, Wilson’s skin was lit from every angle.
Piñera then finished off Wilson’s lashes with Maybelline Lash Sensational. All it takes is a coat or two for volumized lashes that are cleanly separated with zero clump.
Before we get into it, a correction: Wilson’s dress was created by another global Filipina– Monique Lhuillier. (We’re enjoying the bridal entourage’s Self Portrait dresses though.)
For a post-wedding touch up, Piñera gave Wilson stronger lips from her original church wedding face. Maybelline Rosy Matte lipstick in Soft Pink made Wilson’s entire look a bit edgier, totally perfect for kisses like this:
