Emma Stone came to the Oscars to win. While Best Picture evaded her team’s grasp (I can pass on La La Land also, thanks), the Best Actress winner of the 2017 Academy Awards showed up as exactly that– like she knew she’d be taking home that gold man.
NARS worked with makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who happens to be NARS Director of PRO Artistry and Red Carpet for North America, to create the makeup look for Stone at the recently concluded Oscars. Goodwin shares, “Emma’s look was all about 1930s Hollywood Glamour – her makeup was inspired by the romantic paintings by Dante Gabriel Rossetti.”
Similar to Glossier’s Cloud Paint reveal on Chrissy Teigen and Rashida Jones, Stone wore an unreleased liquid blush by NARS. Titled Orgasm, it’s already on a sure path to become iconic– Stone looks like a Hollywood icon, and not the barista up and comer that she played in the film.
Goodwin also used the Velvet Matte Skin Tint and the Audacious Lipstick in shade Mona to knock the old school glamour look out of the park.
